Notes

Quick thoughts, titled by AI, searchable, never lost.

You keep getting thoughts while trying to focus. We get it.

Most productivity apps force you to organize manually: create projects, add labels, set due dates. That's why 97% of them get abandoned within 30 days.[1] They're work on top of your work. Blurto aligns with how you actually think and creates order from your thoughts automatically.[7]

Blurto:
  • Just say it. We'll handle the rest.
  • Capture all your thoughts: notes, ideas, tasks, events, groceries, and media
  • Build a simple daily review habit
  • Capture with text, voice, and images
  • Blurto is a cool bird
Other apps:
  • Create a project, add labels, set a due date...
  • Only tasks. Need separate apps for notes, ideas, groceries, and media
  • You have 47 overdue tasks. Feel guilty.
  • Type everything manually. No voice, no images.
  • Their mascot is a checkbox

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Blurto and how does it work?
Blurto is a voice-first AI productivity app. You speak your thoughts (tasks, ideas, grocery lists, media recommendations, notes) and Blurto's AI automatically classifies and organizes each item into the right category. No manual sorting, no folders, no setup.
How is Blurto different from Todoist, Notion, or Apple Notes?
Traditional productivity apps require you to manually create projects, assign labels, and organize items. Blurto eliminates that overhead entirely. You just speak, and AI handles categorization across six domains: Tasks, Ideas, Media, Groceries, Events, and Notes. It replaces multiple single-purpose apps with one voice-first experience.
Does Blurto work for people with ADHD?
Yes. Blurto is designed with ADHD and executive dysfunction in mind. There's no complex setup, no overdue guilt, and no organizational overhead. Voice capture is 3x faster than typing, so you can capture thoughts before they disappear. The AI handles the structure so your brain doesn't have to.
Can I capture thoughts with my voice?
Voice is Blurto's primary input method. You can also type or attach images. Voice capture works from the app, home screen widgets, lock screen widgets, Apple Watch, and watch face shortcuts.
What types of things can Blurto organize?
Blurto organizes your input into six categories: Tasks (with AI-generated subtasks), Ideas (living documents with curated inspiration), Media (movies, TV, books, games with auto-fetched metadata), Groceries (auto-sorted by aisle), Events (with smart scheduling), and Notes (quick thoughts titled by AI).
Is there a free version?
Blurto is currently in private beta. Sign up and get a download link in your email. It's completely free during the beta.
Does Blurto work on Apple Watch?
Yes. Blurto has a native Apple Watch companion app. Raise your wrist, speak your thought, and it syncs automatically. You can also add Blurto as a watch face complication for one-tap access.
How does the AI classification work?
Blurto uses large language models to analyze your voice transcription and classify each distinct thought into one of six categories. A single voice input like "buy milk, watch Inception, and call mom" gets split into three separate items: a grocery, a media item, and a task.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. Your data is stored securely in your private account and is never shared with third parties. Voice recordings are processed for transcription and then you control whether to keep or delete them.
What platforms is Blurto available on?
Blurto is available on iOS, Android, and Apple Watch, with Web coming soon. Home screen and lock screen widgets are supported on iOS and Android.
